As invisible as a thought,
As silent as a dream.
As open as a secret;
Screaming out to be released.
Confined to four walls,
Yet, content and serene.
Impassive to the world,
The loneliness, unseen.
Isolated among friends,
But with stranger naive.
Expose to Familiarities,
Triggers fires, obstinate.
-Momina.
I'm quite an impassive person myself and I think you've managed to sum it up quite nicely there and quite beautifully too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you feel so, thank you, Mark!
DeleteThe extent to which I can relate to this piece is eerie. But nonetheless, it's a brilliant poem. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI think sometim in life we can all relate to this, you have done very well, like always.
ReplyDeleteI guess you are right. Thank you, Joy.
DeleteYour works carry a passion underneath. Always.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThe great metaphoric connection in first three line - a rapture, Mo. Just so eye-catching. The over all bliss feel is really moving. I envy you, for you do wonders in few lines ; whether be poetry or prose.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! You have no idea how happy your views make me feel! And don't envy me, woman, you yourself are such a wonderful writer, your poetry leaves me wishing I could write that way!
